Spankie Hazard was one of the earliest guests to chip in a mix to A Downtown Affair, so it was a pleasant surprise when he sent over this set. “Before That, There Was This” was put together to commemorate a long-standing disco, house & boogie night in Shibuya by the name of And More. It’s chock full of classic 12″s from the early 80′s, many of which signal the approaching transition from disco to house.
