DJ Emskee on A Downtown Affair

DJ Emskee came on the program last Friday for special guest set. A resident of WBAI 99.5 FM’s Underground Railroad & Rare Radio shows, Emskee brought an eclectic set of dance cuts spanning the 70′s and 80′s. Was really great to see him break out some doubles of a few tracks! On another note, Mike is back in NYC after a stint in the UK. We traded off a few records to close out the show.

Excellent show! I like how you guys have a meticulous playlist. This is what the hip-hop artists don’t want us commoners to know where their samples come from. Disco lives! Thx.
ha! Thanks for the comment Oliver… can’t argue the value of trainspotting!
this dj emskee mix got me through a very crappy day of work. blasting these tunes in my headphones drowned out all the negative shit around me and actually put me in pretty good spirits. thanks to a downtown affair for making it happen.
KF – that’s what it’s all about! Thanks for the comment…
