Camp Debonair returns for our fourth rendition of the now-and-again jam that’s conjuring up dancefloor magic around Brooklyn. This time we’re moving to a spacious loft space on North 6th street in Williamsburg BK. More importantly, we’ll be playing humble hosts to …the legendary rare-groove DJ Peter Reyes from Newark, NJ! We’ll be covering a fair amount of ground as it’s been a handful of lunar cycles since Camp has gathered. Expect a taste of the classics and keep an open mind for the fringes of modern soul, deep disco, blissed-out boogie and other sounds fitting the Camp party ethos.

Tackleberry and I are delighted to be taking over our good friend Mikie Lixxx’s residency Bionic Boogie while he’s out on the West Coast. Mikie’s been on the program a few times over the past twelve months, and his shindig at Tandem is always blasting off – sometimes with digital fireworks, and always surefire dance floor pleasure. It’s been a few months since we’ve played out so we’ll be pulling records accordingly, and keeping in tune with his uptempo, party-centric vibe.

Come by next Saturday night @ Tandem in Bushwick Brooklyn (236 Troutman Street). It’s a 10pm start and we’ll be going ’til close in the back, with the fog and full club stereo!!!

There are tons of shows happening all around the city this weekend. We’ll have Rahaan in the studio with us on Friday leading up to his guest appearance at Sharegroove’s loft party on Saturday night. We booked a doubleheader that night and Cosmo Baker will be in the studio as well!
