Big thanks to Andy Noble of Kings Go Forth and Lotus Land Records who played a guest set on A Downtown Affair last Friday. As fans of the band and the reissues he’s had a hand in, it was a real pleasure to have him play on the show. This past week’s show featured your resident hosts playing through the full two and a half hour program. We stepped into it slowly, playing early ’80s boogie and R&B selections prior to moving uptempo towards more pulsating disco, much of it in the approved cannon of ‘classic disco’.
