Last week we welcomed the esteemed DJ Joseph Colbourne down from Boston to guest on the program. We’ve been trying to hook up for some time now, so we’re real excited we were able to put this together. Joseph is an active contributor to Viva Radio, and is also putting on the Boston’s preeminent, and supremely rad gay disco party called Foxy. He joined us in the studio prior to a weekend of back-to-back gigs, and a dazzling set it was! More than a few of these were new to our ears, and no doubt this one will be in rotation for some time!

This year we dodged the crowded lofts and frantic streets in favor of ringing in the New Year over the air. We couldn’t see the ball drop from the basement studios, but that didn’t stop us from devising our own countdown before breaking out the champagne. 2010 was loaded with incredible sets as you can tell from Mike’s year-end rundown and we hope to continue at that pace in 2011.
