There are tons of shows happening all around the city this weekend. We’ll have Rahaan in the studio with us on Friday leading up to his guest appearance at Sharegroove’s loft party on Saturday night. We booked a doubleheader that night and Cosmo Baker will be in the studio as well!

DJ Emskee came on the program last Friday for special guest set. A resident of WBAI 99.5 FM’s Underground Railroad & Rare Radio shows, Emskee brought an eclectic set of dance cuts spanning the 70′s and 80′s. Was really great to see him break out some doubles of a few tracks! On another note, Mike is back in NYC after a stint in the UK. We traded off a few records to close out the show.

Last Friday we were fortunate to have Josh Dunn back in the studio for a special guest set. Much like last year’s set with Bennett4Senate, he brought a nice mix of lo-fi modern soul and house. Repeat appearances by Larry Bright and rough Prince demos punctuate his mix while I take the opportunity to step out a bit, closing the night with a Halloween inspired set. Be sure to keep an eye on 100 Limousines, as Josh and Asaf have some treats in store.
