To y’all for makin’ it happen! The one year anniversary was kicked off in style with 1/16 slices and some bubbly. Morgan Geist stopped by to treat the party with an excellent selection of feel good boogie & NY disco classics. Serious Business folk were on point all night; we apologize that 4am’s the latest we could go… Big up for all those that came out! We’ve got a few photos complements of D’Brickishaw and B4$.

Mark Straiton is dropping by the studio this Friday for a special Valentine’s Day set. Tune in for songs of love, devotion, deviation, loss and punishment.

Since the launch of his “Aktion!” parties at Lit Lounge, Mark has brought sets of Disco and House to dance floors in NYC and abroad. He currently hosts “One More Night,” a monthly party every 3rd Friday at Huckleberry Bar in Williamsburg. He’s supported and organized events for Jeff Mills, A Guy Called Gerald, Michael Mayer, Miss Kittin, Superpitcher, Bookashade, M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T, Ellen Allien, The Hacker, Vitalic, Cylob, Smash TV, Ed DMX, Misc., Ada, Basteroid, Frank Martiniq, and much much more.

This weekend’s looking top notch as there are plenty of things going on around town…

On Friday, Tackleberry and yours truly will be hosting A Downtown Affair before heading over to Club Love to close out the Full Service Party with some disco heat. We’ll be playing at 2am.

Got to give a shout to the No Ordinary Monkey 5 year anniversary happening over at 88 Palace (one of several mutable Chinatown establishments) on Friday night as well. One of NY’s finest nights; hopefully many more to come.

Saturday’s the 1-year mark for our Serious Business party. We are too excited for what’s in store. Morgan Geist will be playing a little after midnight, and the gentleman of Serious Biz will be bookending his set. AND THAT’S FREE! Check the post from a few days back for more info.
